Rotaract Club Meeting: Guest Speaker Lubna Samara
Rotaract Club of Westminster International is inviting you to our 4th meeting of the year 🌟
We’ll be joined by Guest Speaker Lubna Samara. She will talk about Spirituality in Business & at the Workplace 📂
Over the past 10 years we've seen a surge of interest in concepts like Spiritual Intelligence and Service Leadership which have fuelled the growth of spirituality in business in a more defined way. Many leadership programmes nowadays embrace common values and purpose as major themes of their programmes, and in this year alone there have been over 2000 academic papers published showing how spirituality in the workplace improves creativity, motivation and productivity. But how does this translate into day to day working practices that each one of us can practically use and what can we do to bring more of the benefits of spirituality, in a structured and secular way, into our working life?
Lubna Samara, founder of Higher Will, provides corporate spiritual development programmes and has more than 25 years' experience in leadership & spiritual coaching and healing. She started her working life as a mathematician in the Petroleum Industry later moving to Investment Banking, and has a BSc in Mathematics and an MBA in Finance.
Whilst working in banking she spontaneously started seeing energy fields and experienced what can only be called a spiritual awakening; eventually putting her banking career behind her. She spent years immersed in spiritual practices like meditation, T'ai Chi, healing, reading voraciously and gaining a deeper understanding into the power of the superconscious mind.
Join us to hear more about her experiences and her journey!
